GODFREAD v. ALTMAN, 08-2022-CV-00293

On February 4, 2022, Jon Godfread, in his capacity as the North Dakota Commissioner of Insurance, filed a Complaint for a  Declaratory Judgement, a Temporary Restraining Order, and Permanent Injunction in the State of North Dakota South Central Judicial District Court, naming the Statutory Rehabilitator and Special Deputy Rehabilitator of SHIP as Defendants. The case was removed to the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota at docket number 3:22-cv-01329, but the federal court remanded the matter back to state court, where it remains pending today.
